SIXTH TASK CANCELLED DUE BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS
Today’s task, sixth of this XXII World Hang Gliding Championship, has been cancelled after about two hours of flight, due bad weather conditions and storms all over flying area, as told by “meteoman” Damiano Zanocco.
Pilots had to land in the closest field respect their positions. The organization made this choice to ensure to all of them safety, which is the main thing to remember expecially in a sport like this one.
The task didn’t achieve minimal requirements of FAI regulations, so it won’t be valid for the overall classification.
See you tomorrow for another task: the weather forecast are pretty good and we expect good weather conditions enough to allow another wonderful fly day.
